Bjork Parody Filming Update

Posted on March 13, 2012. Filed under: 1, Fun Stuff, Libraries and Librarians, Web 2.0 + Web 2.1 |

Next week the Love2Read committee are going to film a parody video clip of the Bjork song, ‘It’s Oh So Quiet’, to promote Love2Read in our libraries. If you are available, and in for a fun morning, here are the details:

When: Thursday 22 March, 8.30 – 10.00am
Where: Springwood Library
What’s happening?:
The parody storyline begins with a quiet library, with people reading and library staff shelving gracefully.
Then, bam boom, it’s storytime! The toddlers run in! Dancing kids! Fun with Aniko and Sue! Woohoo!!

And then, again…shh…shh…it’s nice and quiet…

What to wear:
Come along dressed in one of the following guises (Naomi will bring spare wigs) –
1. Librarian / patron / yourself
2. Child (pigtails, shorts, tees etc)
3. Bjork-inspired (Bright, wacky, creative clothes)

There will be some (bad) dancing required…

Our parody song can be heard here:

If you are a singer and would like to contribute to the song, please contact Naomi.

We’d love to see you there!
