“The Atlas of New Librarianship” by R. David Lankes

Great book that covers all areas of librarianship. R. David Lankes states that “the mission of librarians is to improve society through facilitating knowledge creation in their communitites” and that “knowledge is created through conversation”. We have added the book to our ANF collection and you may also want to check out the companion website here. The book comes with a very interesting map that sums up the many ideas presented in the book. You can view the map online here¬†(you will want to zoom in).
